Why yapuso wears Brown and Orange
When we created the yapuso logo, one crucial question came up: Which colors suit an app for travelers? Classic business blue or corporate grey? Absolutely not.
When you’re on vacation, you don’t want to be reminded of the office. Travel means freedom – and that’s exactly what our colors should express.
So I reflected on my own travels:
Brown – like the didgeridoo of an Aboriginal artist in Australia. It stands for grounding, connection to nature, and reliability. Because yapuso is the secure foundation for your travel memories – no matter where you are.
Orange – inspired by the robes of Buddhist monks in Southeast Asia. The color symbolizes joy of life, energy, and adventure. Exactly the feeling we want to experience when traveling.
