The kangaroo, the guardian of the path
We decided to travel Western Australia in an off-road vehicle. Our journey takes us along the Yardie / Ningaloo Road, which is only permitted for 4x4 vehicles.
I remember, as it was yesterday. We drive along at a leisurely pace, enjoying the scenery, when suddenly the “guardian of the road” appears in front of us. A large male kangaroo, rearing up. It takes a moment for it, to let us pass.
